Hopefully nobody! faith is not hearsay, faith in God is something i would die for. Faith in something other than God, i may go with the majority if i agree with it.

I would say a large number (like those that hold that an angel talked to their leader, and to wear special glasses to read the message) yet there are those that have had some kind of enlightenment from God as Saul of Tars.<---spelling lived and was knocked off his horse.

God tells us that we must study/analyze/discover His word this way we are not tricked by what others say to be the truth, (like that religion where only the leader of it could read the Bible) we can stand and know that what is being preached by someone is not based on his or her opinion but rather from God's word---the Bible.

    Good q.

My faith comes from the Word of God! I don't now what you mean by hearsay. I just know The Holy Bible is The Word of God! And I am blessed I do. GOD BESSYOU!

    All of them.

Lack of faith, however, comes from reason.

Evolution is a field of science, it is backed up with lots of evidence and makes predictions that are testable.

How many of these qualities does religion have?

    .

Everyone's faith in evilution is a result of heresy !

Because Evolution is not a science, but is a religion.

Science, of course, involves observation, using on or more of our five senses (taste, sight, smell, hearing touch) to gain knowledge about the world, and being able to repeat the observation.

No living scientist was there to observe the first life forming in some primeval sea.

No living scientist was there to observe the “big bang” some billions of years ago.

No living scientist was there to observe the supposed formation of the earth.

No scientist was there, no human witness was there to see these events occurring.

And they certainly cannot be repeated today.

All the evidence a scientist has exists only in the present. The average person (including students) are not taught that scientists have only the present and cannot deal directly with the past.

Evolution is a belief system about the past based on the words of men who were not there, but who are trying to explain how all the evidence of the present (that is fossils, animals, plants etc.) originated.

Webster’s Dictionary defines religion as follows: “Cause, principle or system of beliefs held to with ardour and faith.” Surely this is an apt description of evolution.

    Evolution is a belief system – A RELIGION !

May God bless you as you study His Word

The VAST majority of Christians have not read all (and some have not read any) of the bible, let alone have read it without the assistance of a Church leader to explain what it 'really' means.

Probably quite a few, but not all.

Many people claim a personal revelation of truth from God and that wouldnt be hearsay.

The bible is the word of God. And I have the spirit of God to testify to it's truth.

I appreciate many people will not understand this.

All but one according to the Bible. (Mt. 15:9)
