It all depends. I'm a Medical Laboratory Technologist and one of my jobs is to test urine, and part of that is looking at the color. Yellow is the usual color. If its clear it's usually because you've had a lot of liquids so the urine has been watered down, lessening the yellow colour. Brown or red can be because of blood in the urine. If it's cloudy/turbid, it may be due to an infection or a large amount of crystals in the urine (some crystals are normal, some are not). Some infections or medications can give the urine a completely different color (like green or bright orange). But really there are a lot of factors taken into account, with the color just being a small part of it. If you do urinate and it is anything other then yellow / clear for a length of time, I would suggest going to your doctor and requesting a urinalysis. Some doctors offices do them on site (they dip your urine on a stick with squares that change colours depending on whats in your urine) or they will send them to the lab where a lab technologist like me will test the urine with the testing instruments, as well as looking at it under the microscope, and plating it for bacteria if the results call for it or doctor requests it.

It's not often white unless you only ever drink pure water. It can be orangy first thing in the morning, or during the day if you drink a lot of tea and coffee. As the day wears on and you absorb more liquids it can get clearer, depends how often you go to the loo. The longer it's in you, the darker it gets.

Bloody is NOT healthy. The color of your urine depends on the liquids you drink and foods you eat!

Light yellow is usually considered as normal urine color.

The three main causes of abnormal urine color are:

    Foods,drugs, and health issues.

If you drink enough water then it will be white, or clear. If you don't drink enough water then it will be yellow. But it should not be yellow because then that will show lack of water intake.
