Look - nothing kills the GOP more then the Abortion Issue. Why do the Republicans continue to use the Abortion Issue as a litmus test. It immediately eliminates the best of the party. We just had 8 years of a born again Christian as President and abortion is legal. It's here to stay folks, perhaps there some more education to young woman who reluctantly have abortions (how could any feminists have a problem with that I don't know).

I the GOP needs to be the party of moderates and common sense. I was so disgusted with that the fact that the GOP has fell into this rut. Can you imagine what Barry Goldwater would think of his party now? The fact so many personal issues like Gay Marriage and Abortion are even at the Federal Level - they are State Issues.

This last election may have been the best thing for the party. For the record, I have never voted for a Democrat. However, that may change unless the party changes. I'm not alone either - it's unbelievable that so many people in there late 30's and 40's are starting to look at the Democratic Party (that was usually the age Democrats realize how dumb they've been and become Republicans).
