Why do many more homosexual men die from AIDS than heterosexual men?

Call me a bigot or what you want but it's a fact

- Ruptured/tore anal tissue ( the fact that the anus is not naturally lubricated and it doesn't stretch much ... it's an exit --- feces and gases --- ... not an entrance ... for both men and women )

- Blood vessels very present in anus and when mixed with semen then it's bad news

- The fact that anal sex/intercourse is not recommended for any male/male or male/female couple and is deemed high risk activity and hurts much ( damage to rectum )

- Many condoms tend not to prevent STD's ( some do but many do not ) and instead protect against pregnancy ( which is basically useless for homosexual men )

- Unhealthy activities such as pissing during sex , " anal fisting " ( which hurts the anus more ) and " barebracking "

Heterosexual men get infected but not at the same rate as homosexual men ( # 1 ) and women ( # 2 ) so to anybody whom is deluding him or herself to heterosexual men being the main victims get a reality check you fools

I remember this from "Abnormal Psychology" class. (And the "Introduction to Psychology" as well.) That is supposedly the part of the hypothalamus - please correct me if I'm wrong - where gay and straight men differ, and also supposedly gay men and women have the same size of! (Even then, I found it unsettling that no one considered measuring the difference of that part between gay and straight women.) IF this is true, then that would mean being gay is natural, and something we cannot help. And IF it is, then the scientific community SHOULD make a public declaration about this "finding", so that the haters can stop spreading their lies about it being a "choice"; if it's hardwired into our brain, then we can't help ourselves from being who we are. But I've always maintained that whether the "source" of our homosexuality is genetic, or learned, or a combination, it is all IMMATERIAL to the discussion of human and civil rights, and how we are being prosecuted unfairly and unjustly denied of our HUMAN rights. THAT is something science will not answer, it falls on the realm of public morals, laws, human compassion and ethics.

Vagina is more lubed so less friction on penetration. BUT it is not true that there are more gay men than straight. In fact I think you might find that more straight women die of AIDS than gay men and I think that is the question you shoud be asking. If you think about the human body. The rectum contains many blood vessels and when stretched (during intercourse) these vessels may rupture or the tissue surrounding the rectum tears. if these conditions are present and the semen ( which may contain hiv) enters the canal that is the entry way for hiv to get into the body. That's what I believe is happening......... Although the vagina is designed to stretch, when exposed to semen or blood from an infected person the same thing occurs infection with HIV

I am not completely certain why more gay men die than straight men - my guess is that it would have to do with the percentage of the population affected.

Maybe hetrosexual men are more worried about stuff like pregnancy so they use condoms, but some homosexual men aren't as worried (you can't get your partner pregnant) so they use it less? Ya also the tissue inside can get ripped = more chance

Anal tissues usually tear in homosexual men (anal sex and so it's very fragile) and rectum gets damaged (plus like somebody said here it's not lubricated)... infection gets EASILY into the bloodstream (anus has MANY blood vessels) and so bam! Damage is done

Heterosexual men don't have anal sex and though "receiving" is NOT the ONLY way or transmission (I REPEAT is is NOT the ONLY way) it IS the QUICKEST and most EFFICIENT way and since they (heterosexual men) are "tops" (total tops) it is a much better position in relation to AIDS (that's why you see more women and homosexual men with AIDS then heterosexual men... see the "top" vs "bottom" dynamic)

Let me see... the AVERAGE heterosexual woman has 1 to 5 partners in her lifetime (I'm a heterosexual woman and I am still a virgin btw) and the homosexual man has 20 to 40 or more... a lot of heterosexual women USE condoms unlike homosexual dudes... plus (contrary to assumptions) a lot of heterosexual women do not practice anal sex (about 8 to 9 out of 10) and HATE it (those women having anal sex in porn are in the minority)... in fact I myself TRIED IT

I watched this programme on the disease and some british gay men were being interviewed. They said that some men intentionally have sex with men with HIV because it had become 'fashionable' in the gay world!

This was shocking! Even more shocking was that they would make sure they would definately be infected by inserting a but plug afterwards.
