What's the best way to train a wolf/husky that is just over a year old?

She knows how to sit... but you have to tell her a few times.

Update:

Please give as many details as possible. How often should I train? Any good books I should pick up?

    I had a wolf/husky mix when I was a teenager and I'm not a troll.

Winston (my wolf/husky) was an amazing dog....but he was more difficult to train than any other dog I've owned. Just keep up with the training and always make sure the dog knows you are indeed the pack leader and the dominant one in the "pack".

I didn't use any particular books to train my dog. I just used the same techniques I used for all my other dogs except he took longer to catch onto them and it took a lot of repeating the process for him to stay trained. I know it may sound weird but I used cheerios as his treat when I was training him. Just be consistent and don't give up!
