First question - is the poo 'normal'? not runny/diarrhoea, or very thin and looking like a pile of string, or got blood in it. All of these are signs that there is something wrong that needs investigating by a vet.
Make sure the kitten has a clean litter tray, and that she knows where it is, and can get to it easily. If you catch the kitten messing on the floor immediately put her in the litter tray. You might also put a small piece of the poo in there so she can get the idea of what the tray is for, but don't leave it there too long.
As for cleaning, don't use any cleaner that has ammonia in it as it will make the problem worse. Washing up liquid is about the best, followed by a disinfectant spray.

Make sure kitten has a litter tray. Clean area where cat "poos" thoroughly & keep kitten from going in that area for a while.
