What was your favorite Pokemon movie?

My favorite was Mewtwo Strikes Back and Pokemon 2000

I like the japanese version of Mewtwo strikes back because

The plot in the dubbed English version contains a "fighting is wrong" moral and portrays Mewtwo as a cold heartless villain who just wants to take over Earth.The Japanese version portrays Mewtwo as a confused being who cannot place himself among other living beings because he wasnt created by God, so his stress of not being able to figure any of that out leads to his destruction of the labratory on New Island, Team Rocket's new base, and eventually, his plan to get revenge on the world to prove he should be alive. The original Japanese soundtrack was removed, and an entirely new soundtrack was composed for the American dub. This was due to the soundtrack being too dark for American audiences,since the rating was G. The soundtrack featured many melodramatic chorus music scores that gave the atmosphere a more ominous sound than what the U.S. version had.

Pokemon 2000 was cool though with the edits :D

First was the best and you can't consider that anything above decent but it fun if your young. I suppose the fact that I have this movie on VHS and DVD says something about how much I liked it

I found 2000 lacking even as a kid but it had a certain something about it I suppose

Third was horrible one of the worst movie ever

4eva was actually on the same level as 2000 maybe better (but still not good) but I was just to old for it by then

saw the first two in American theatres, third and fourth at my younger cousins house when babysitting

Pokémon: The First Movie (1998)

I like the story and the characters. I don't like the new ones. The newer Pokemon seem to be slapped together with no thought.

Yep I'm with you, the first one was my fav Pokemon movie. :)

My second fav is Pokemon 2000, the funny thing is I didn't know what one that was so I looked up the one you put and it was the one I was thinking off. XD

My favorite Pokemon movie is currently Pokemon: Giratina and the Sky Warrior. (the newest one that takes place in the Sinnoh region that featuers Giratina)

I also love Pokemon 4 Ever (the one that takes place in Johto and features the ledgendatry pokemon Celebi)

Also Pokemon: Jirachi Wish Maker (The one in the Hoenn region that features Jirachi)

Mewtwo Vs Mew (the first one). The music in the rest of them are pretty good though (even, yes I'm saying it, the newer ones >.<).

Pokemon 2000 was pretty good too.

None of them are really any good.

The first one was cool to see as a little kid, until the ending where they lose there memories. Made me feel like the whole movie was a waste since the characters forgot everything. ugh

2000 was not bad, but using that lame 'prophecy' plot, ugh

ive only seen parts of 3, and i wasnt too interested

ive seen parts of the other ones, but yeah, boring
