What can I do about blotchy skin?

I am a redhead. Although my skin is clear and generally oil-free, I have blotchy skin that looks pasty in one area of my face, and "irritated" red in other areas of my face. Is there any kind of product to use to even blotchy skin? Thanks,

Have you tried applying cold milk to your skin? I use it after I get my eyebrows waxed and they are sensitive and puffy red. It seems to work. A bit of vaseline might help to after washing your skin with a cleanser that has a built in moisturizer. Nothing that will dry your skin out.

you can buy creams for your face which are tinted green but rub in clear to even out your skin tone. Boots 17 has a good one.

you use it before applying make up
