Get a soup base going - chicken broth would be best in my opinion. If you're a vegetarian, use some kind of veggie broth, because you're only going to steam the broccoli, right?

You could definitely put the jalapenos into the broth base (or even make the base out of jalapenos - that would be spicy). To cut down on the heat, slice the peppers lengthwise and remove the seeds inside.

Anyway, cooked jalapenos have a much more subtle but still very spicy taste. Make your broth, season it however you like, shred the cheese into it and then add the steamed chopped broccoli. If you want the jalapenos still crispy and raw, you could do it that way (at the end as garnish), but consider carefully whether to use the seeds!

Mmmm...spicy cheese and broccoli soup! Google a cheese and broccoli soup recipe and just add the jalapenos to it.

    12 oz of chicken broth

    2 cups of half/half

    tsp salt

    tbsp pepper

Slow cook with japs and cheese throw broccoli in in the last 10 minutes of an hour.

I would also add garlic. That's just me.
