If a spaceship landed in your yard and offered you a ride into space to somewhere, would you go with them?
Assume you know nothing more than this. Would you take the chance to go into the unknown, knowing the risks and all you might be leaving behind?

Well, I'd call up some witnesses first to photograph the scene and collect as much evidence as possible, maybe get a few interviews... and then I'd send someone with better scientific and diplomatic credentials in my place. Heading into space isn't something that just anybody should do!
Okay, okay, let's assume that there's no time for that, though I don't see why there shouldn't be.
If they answered a few questions, I would, after saying my goodbyes. ("Do you have food I can digest?" is a key question.)
If they were unwilling to answer any questions, then no, no way. Someone who won't answer questions isn't to be trusted. On the other hand, a hostile species that could get to earth would be so far advanced beyond us that they could blow us up at whim, so I might not have a choice, and end up going anyway.
If they didn't speak English, and so couldn't answer the questions, I'd have mixed feelings. I'd probably do it, still, but bring a snack along.
