can you erase dvd-r disks?

    No, but you can erase DVD-RW discs.

    Nope m8, You can only erase and re-use DVD-RW Disks.Thats why DVD-R disks cost less than DVD-RW.

    No, only those that are DVD-R-W ones.

    If you have something on a DVD-R and don't want it anymore, then, just cut it up an toss it.

    DVD-R/CD-R stand for Read Only Memory, so it can only have info put on once.

    you cant unless you get RW disks (rewritable)
