It has a little bit of tobacco. It's not addictive. It's not for getting high off of or anything.. it's kind of just to play with and make shapes and there's flavors and stuff. It's completly legal if you're over 18.

It doesn't really do anything bad to you.. I mean it does have tobacco in it so i wouldn't make a habit out of it but doing it every now and thens finee.

drugs are bad, mmmkay. Addiction is primarily psychological as some things can be more addictive to some but not others. Its all about self control.

The mind is a very powerful thing. EFT (emotional freedom technique) can be used to overcome addictions fear pain etc. That being said smoking anything is a potential heath issue, but relatively ok in moderation if balanced by exercise, eating well and getting optimal sun exposure to increase vitamin D3, you will vastly reduce all potential forms of cancer and other illness, including mental weakness'.

If you are referring to a hooker water pipe it depends what you are smoking in it. Smoking a type of certain illegal weed gives great insight into life but if not controlled will make you distant from society and potentially mentally ill but only IF predisposed to it.

Moderation is the key to everything really. Sometimes repetitive imbibement of fun substances can be habit forming while not actually being technically 'addictive' so be careful anyway. I believe that if your head is screwed on right to start with and you keep an open mind and use moderation and control then you will not become addicted to anything short of possibly very strong narcotics. I am a smoker of tobacco and other natural substances and can easily go days without needing to have any. I believe in my case it is habitual and not addiction as there are no negative withdrawal effects that i have noticed.

You can use your head to control your body and if you practice or meditate or get in touch with yourself then it is possibe to reprogram the the way you think. This in turn will alter your perception which alters your reality. Reality is a state of mind so have a go at controlling your own.

On a side note you can buy a vaporiser for smoking anything and they posess less risk to your lungs as you are not actually inhaling smoke but a vapour mist containing all desired active ingredients.

Side note 2: ever seen an old medicine man smoking a pipe that looked 150 years old? Could the smoke make him look 3 times his age? Could that be because he is still healthy even though he smokes something "bad" or simply that he does not befoul his body with toxic western inorganic processed food. Or all of the above, this one is yours - Think about it people.

But at the end of the day always make up your own mind. It is yours afterall..

Source(s): my head, intuition, meditative enlightenment. The good Dr mercolas website. Countless web forums. And no i didnt get any of this from an out of date conservative textbook. I am skeptical of most organised medical institutions due to the overriding influence that big pharma has over the whole industry in the interest of profiteering and not public wellbeing. thankyou - come again :-)

It's spelled 'Hookah', and smoking anything is potentially harmful. As far as the addictive 'stuff'...it depends on what 'stuff' you plan on smoking.
