Martial Arts Athletes Question.....Gamma-O/Supplemen…
For those of you who consider yourselves athletes, as well as martial artists, or MMA practitioners....
Have you ever used the supplement GAMMA-O? If yes, please include your age at the time you used it, how you used it, and what benefits, if any, you experienced?
I have used protein powders and creatine for years, but never really experimented much with others.
I recently began using nitric oxide enhancers, glutamine and leucine/arginine metabolism boosters and was really surprised and pleased with the results.
I have never tried GAMMA-O, but it is endorsed by a number of competitive fighters and I have considered it.
I am not looking for dialog about the use of or safety of supplements. I am very familiar with the FDA and regulatory issues from a professional standpoint.
I am looking for the experience of those that have used them. And the age they were at the time they used them!

James - I have never taken supplements as I do not believe in them but three of my black belts have. I am not sure what they take but I will ask them about this one and see what they say. I will post their answers later.
Edit - ok..talked with two of them today and neither one said they have or would take the GAMMA-O supplement since it is not what they are interested in. They are taking supplements to help with muscle building and tone and are avoiding things that will modify the metabolism rate since it has the ability to cause damage to the body.

Many supplements can be found in natural foods. By being careful what you eat and avoiding to much prepared foods you can get what your body needs to heal and grow healthy tissue. I recommend a book by Bernard Jenson "Foods that Heal" as a good reference to start with. I used it to help get my wife through a difficult recovery from a surgery that she nearly died from. Her Doctors were amazed at her rapid and thorough recovery.
A lot of the money folks spend on supplements goes town the flush as the body cannot assimilate all of the supplements in the form sold in powders and capsules.
The exception probably being protean powders. I know one person who uses Gamma-O and says he benefits from it.

She might be if she's fairly the great. The guy was once more commonly viewed the quickest HUMAN and she or he the quickest lady considering that he was once quickest in phrases of each females and guys, and she or he was once just a bit slower than him. If that is no longer the case, then it is simply screwed up and historical-original, or anybody simply wrote the ones details down with out taking into account the results.
