Is it possible to be fiscally conservative and liberal on social matters? How would that work? WOLVERINE?

    Consistency may be the Hobgoblin of Little Minds.Critical thinking often requires that slavish devotion to a single idea often leads to poor decisions that are costly and regretted. Yes one can have several minds on any subject.

    Yes, its where most people are to be honest with you. We just don't care enough about social issues to raise large funds and organize a party to any large degree.

    Yes. One could oppose government taxes & lavish spending while not being obsessed with homosexuals.

    It works very well for those who hold those opinions. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions!

    it's called libertarian (except they're actually much more radical than either party on either issue)

    e.g. michael bloomberg would be a mainstream example
