Since you took the time to post this before washing it off the acid has already ruined your shirt.
BTW: next time be careful battery acid can burn your skin too.

Sorry to say..but once you get a corrosive from a battery on clothing it is ruint..if the corrosive wasn't strong enough to actually eat holes in the cloth(which most is) the stain will never come out..some of these home remedies here will not work for acid

It's probably acid and once it gets wet, you won't have to worry about the stains. They'll be holes instead.

Dilute with water before acid eats and destroys the shirt...
Very quickly too...!

If you don't get holes and it goes rusty colour.Milk.Milk put on biro etc
stains gets it out.Yesterday removed cooking oil from cashmere jumper
with it.
