where do Jewish people come from or where is their original homeland?
does it change anything as far as Israel goes if in fact Jews originally come from ie; YEMEN? for some reason this is not widely known information even though it is a great and significant scientific finding. Jewish Scientists proved that they are from Yemen by using Genetic engineering! did you know about that? does that change anything as far as they were claiming they are from Israel originally and therefore the land belongs to them? check it out! a great research and the results can't be refuted. it is a fact! if you enjoy research then you should enjoy reading this:
Fred: it isn't a bad idea to sometimes take off your blinders and selective hearing aids and do your own research ie; read the link provided. it is a research done by the Jewish people themselves! give it a try at least once! you won't go to hell if god is just!

They came from the 12 tribes of Israel according to the Bible. Essentially they were a people among various peoples who thrived in the Middle East. Countries were not really the norm in those days and much of the area was nomadic in nature not truly being influenced to a great degree as empires came and went. To suggest the the area, now call Israel, was the Jewish country is false because many peoples lived throughout this region. The countries of the Middle East we see today are an aberration of reality having been set up in boundaries mostly by the British in the early 1900s and after the 1st World War. The French Foreign Legion also had a lot of influence throughout the Middle East.

This is something I did not know. I am disturbed by the statement "the one and only true God!" Why don't people understand that this statement is the nuts and bolts of every religious war throughout history? Every religious person feels that his Deity is the "one and only true God." Wars have been fought because of this belief.
The truth is, because we were born in a Christian country and grew up with these beliefs or discovered them in adulthood, we believe in the Christian God. But this does not mean we have irrefutable proof that this is so. If we had been born in a Muslim country, as Hindus, or any other faith, we would believe otherwise.
I don't believe the Jews have any more right to Biblical lands, however and whenever they obtained it, than the American Indian can turn back time and reclaim our own country. Many American citizens resent the Illegal entry of Mexican citizens across our border, yet that same land was theirs before it was taken over by our ancestors.
I believe Israel should stay within the boundaries given it at the time of their resettlement. I do give them credit for their courage to survive the Holocaust and build a new country. I believe that Palestine should have that same opportunity. I want a two state solution to the problems in that section of the Middle East and, the more we study and understand that each and every religion has a right to exist and that one religion is of no more importance than the other, the fewer wars we will have.

You are right Jewish people went through horrible time with hitler and they do deserve their own land. But however it is not fair Also for Palestine because that's where Jesus was born as well and we have a lot of christian people in Palestine. It's not about who came first Christianity or Jewish, they are both a religion and both to be respected. Also it's not fair foralestinen people, like israel needs it an land, Palestine do. Palestine was a state before world war two until Jewish people got their own land and started taking over Palestine. Therefor it became a territory and people denied it. What I am saying is not based on some information off from Wikipedia it's based on me looking over media and looking at reality

Actually the Jewish people - formerly known as Hebrews - consisted of a number of nomadic tribes that ranged the territories occupied by the modern-day states of Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and probably the Sinai peninsula, Yemen and parts of Saudi Arabia.
Some of them apparently lived in Babylon at one time, and some were in Egypt at another. Because they were mostly nomadic they did not have a "country" of their own, and wandered around, sometimes warring with the people who were indigenous, and sometimes becoming servants or slaves of larger cultures.
What is not publicized is that Hebrews of that time and the forefathers of present day Arabs were virtually indistinguishable, all being nomadic Semites, and having similar diet and customs. It is difficult to tell when they began to distinguish themselves as being a separate culture, but this may stem from the time of the exodus out of Egypt of those who were slaves there.

Throughout Histroy, civilizations have been destroyed. Even today, civilizations or race of people are continously been forever deleted from life. IT is as always have been - that is life. The Jews were and are just a tribe - that they have nation now is because it was forced and is a forced nation. There is more at work then anyone will ever really know.. These people, Jews are not the center of the earth or much less of life.
Source(s): Lets just sufice that there are other older tribes who's beloefs are being analized and are being denied a public scrutiny else Histroy is re-written. http://www.santafe.edu/~johnson/articles.yiddish.h... The original place of the ancient jews ( not modern jews) was Yemen. They dispersed after the destruction of the famous Marib dam.

I saw a TV show recently that pushed a theory that the Early Israelites were actually Canaanites that had become disaffected by the Canaanite nobility. They show some evidence to support this claim. Sorry I don't have the title of the program.
