Any other liberals getting tired of Obama trying to please Republicans all the time?
Now he's gone and appointed a Mormon Republican Missionary as Ambassador to China!

He might as well just appoint Sarah Palin to head up women's health... What is he thinking???
I know you supposedly catch more flies with honey... etc. But these people have a clear mission - to take Democrats out of office, perpetuate war for oil and start a holocaust on gays.

Yes, I know a lot of them. The liberal establishment tries hard to keep the people trapped in the Democratic party though and there are psychological issues involved like attachment to Obama. That's not a low blow or meant mean or insulting but normal human behavior. Obama is likable, charming, made people hope real change would come during a long campaign. On election night the people won, that felt awesome certainly after the Bush years. That feeling and wanting to hold on to it is so much better than to have to realize Obama is not that great. That's hard for people, liberals included. Then there's the Republican party and conservatives who continue to remind us 24/7 why the American people threw them out in disgust and thus why they started liking Obama. And Obama remains likable, smart, coherent. He's very good at what he does with a Republican opposition that continues to play the same games, the phony outrage, the lies, the vilification, the pseudo patriotic blackmail
It's complicated and I'm not sure you want to hear it but Obama was never the great progressive you thought he was.
Whether or not you read the rest is up to you. Free choice but these facts are absolutely clear and there's not 1 shred of right wing nonsense presented in anything put forward here

Sorry, can't make it more beautiful than it is. I have more sources and examples but you have to decide what you want to believe
Both corporate parties are political instruments of the financial aristocracy, but the Republicans are the open advocates of big business. The Democrats pretend to defend the interests of the working people, while in practice serving the same corporate elite. This double-dealing role of the Democrats is expressed in their habitual spinelessness and insincerity.
In an opposition role, the Republicans conduct themselves intransigently, while the Democrats bow and scrape, beg for "bipartisanship," and end up looking like the weaker party even when possessed, as now, of a sizeable majority.
With a Democrat in the White House, the Republican minority in Congress today attacks and blocks administration legislation, using every available parliamentary device, like the filibuster. When they were a majority in Congress, the Republicans even impeached a twice-elected president, Democrat Bill Clinton, on trumped-up charges.
The Democrats, by contrast, never availed themselves of the full powers of the legislature when, against their own expectations, they won a congressional majority in 2006. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi ruled out impeachment hearings over Bush's illegal wars, spying on Americans, and countless violations of the Constitution. The Democrats would neither vote down nor filibuster the stream of "emergency" bills to continue the funding of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

This is something Democrats always do. They try to please everyone. Carter and Clinton did it too.
One of the differences between conservatives and liberals is that liberals try to resolve conflict by compromise and consensus. They try to come up with a solution that everyone can live with, though nobody gets everything they wanted. Conservatives believe in dictating terms from a position of power--my way or the highway. If they don't get everything they want they feel they've been robbed. Democrats see compromise as a victory, allowing us all to move ahead. Republicans see it as capitulation, or their favorite word lately--'appeasement'.
So Democratic presidents always try to bring the Republicans into an agreement, to get them to the table, to keep them involved. Republicans, OTOH, try to completely cut out the Democrats, to marginalize them.
But I think Obama is giving too much away. The Repubilcans will never cooperate with him because they see it as handing him a victory. They desperately want him to fail so they can get back into control. And they don't care how much damage they do to the country in the process.

"Any other liberals getting tired of Obama trying to please Republicans all the time?".
At least someone is trying to do the right thing.
I know that libs only care about what affects them personally, not right from wrong.
China is a Communist Dictatorship, run by a Politburo. Not run by and for the people. It is run by and exclusively for the politburo. Appointing a Moral Conservative might help in pushing them towards the right direction. Libs love nothing more than getting more for their money, so they overlook abortion and forced population control "oh they are so progressive in China", overlooking political prisons filled with dissidents imprisoned for speaking their mind "we have the same problem over here...ABC or Yahoo kick you off their blog for speaking you're mind" Yea, but you are not in prisons for it!
To quote any thing the"Huffsomemore Post" is just pathetically ignorant. I would not piss on Arianna's grave so as to not insult my urine.
Yes we do have a clear mission:
1. Take Democrats out of office.
2. Without oil we die, as an economy immediatly and a while later as a decent and civilised society (excludeing liberal scum), so yes we are on a mission to stabilize the availability and price to keep us from falling into that precipice, through war if need be.
3. You are rabidly paranoid. God you are what is called a flaming incindiary liberal. They are just windmills not monsters. They is no holocaust on gays, and there won't be as long as they don't take up guns. Normal and decent people don't want their children to be raised in a world where being gay is ok. Its not. Its against all things natural, when was the last time you saw a man and a man have a baby, or 2 women for that matter. Sex should be a private matter and what 2 people do behind closed doors is NOT my business. As long as you act in a decent manner, you'll be treated according.
Source(s): The problem with most libs is that they don't know the differance between right and wrong. They call it "the differance between right and whatevers most convienient"! I see below there are a lot of scummy liberals out there! - e pluribus unumLv 71 decade ago
Other than being a Republican, why is the Governor of Utah not fit for the job? And what is wrong with the clear mission of conservatives, I can only hope for success.

Fellow liberal here. I've gotten more tired of liberals who play the same divisive game as conservatives.
If you're being serious, this is propaganda. If you're not, high five for effective satire.

Just now realizing you got snookered, huh? Myself, I am in neither mainstream party, so I don't feel I am part of this never ending paradigm. It's interesting to watch those who are chase their tails, though.
