How much does a tattoo hurt?

It hurts but it is tolerable. You feel more pressure then you do pain. It helps if you bring a friend along so you can talk while getting your tattoo. Talking helps with the pain.

Most tattoos don't tickle. You're going to feel pain, but nothing unbearable. I got my wrist done 3 days ago, and all I felt was a little burning. I sat there and talked the whole time. I love the tat idea too!

Tattoos hurt yes! But the pain you feel while getting one is manageable. There may be a little squirming but nothing to serious. I have 5 and plan on getting a whole lot more.

Everyone's pain tolerance is different. Before getting any tattoo, you really need to decide whether it's worth the pain, and make sure it's something you REALLY want because it's permanent.

Also, make sure to do some research or ask around before going to a tattoo parlor. Make sure it's clean and has a good reputation because you want to be tattooed by someone who knows what they're doing.

it always depends where u get the tattoo. in sensitive areas it will obviously hurt more. the wrist u should feel some kinda bad pain but not anything HUGE. so just get ready for some minor pain:) hope i helped

I have two tattoos...one is on my hip and one is on my side between my hip and ribs... it is most painful on the bone but generally bearable! I found the most painful thing was getting it coloured in... If your tattoo design is basically just an outline that shouldnt be too bad... and loads of people have them on their wrists so it cant be that sore!! hope this helps !

Honestly its different for everone. Mine hurt alot, but my friends didn't or at least he said it didnt hurt that much. I think it also depends on where you get it. I dont know about on the wrist.

It depends on where it is. Ones over bone will hurt more than over fatty parts. I dont think it hurts really, so much as it is just constant. It is kind of like a constant sting. If you get a small one, it wont last long and shouldnt be bad.

it depends on how much you can tolerate pain! when i got my tattoo it didn't hurt that bad! it was just an annoying pain! but if you really want the tattoo its worth it! some places hurt more than others! good luck

I have 4 and my wife has 2. Upper back hurt the worst, it was rough. Upper arm or other fleshy area hurt the least. It's not that bad!
