First off congrats. You need to go to your state welfare office and apply for medicaid and because you are not working(and if you were) and you have no insurance you will be accepted. They never turn down a pregnant person no matter of their age. It's all about qualify with your income and no insurance.Once you fill this out you should receive paperwork in the mail letting you know you received it and then you need to call your local obygn's and see who accepts it and make your appointment.Good Luck and God Bless You!!

I agree completely with what Nekkid said... When exactly is your wedding? Depending on how you feel about the situation and if for whatever reason medicaid doesn't work out, go to court and get legally married so he can add you onto his policy before the doctor's visits become more frequent. You can always have your actual wedding day with your white dress and reception at a later time and exchange vows then without signing the papers. Honestly, nobody will ever know the difference unless you tell them because signing the papers is not done infront of anyone. That's usually behind the scene. Good luck!!

You should be eligible for PCAP Medicaid because you are pregnant and need to receive prenatal care. When you apply they might ask you to get the person whom you are living with to write or sign a declaration of support letter it states that you are staying with them and they provide you with a place to sleep, food and money for transportation to get where you need to go if you have school and/or any appointments to attend, but that they don't provide money for medical coverage. God Bless all will work out if you pray.

for one at 17 you cant be in the military i was in the army and they will not let you go in until you are 18.
for two go on government assistance like all the other teen moms do. ( im not dissing i was a teen mom my self i am just stating a fact)
if you were raped then the police dept that handled your rape case should have options for prenatal care for you
if you are concidering adoption there are alot of adoption shelters that cover full medical care while pregnant and they give you a place to stay and food to eat in a home like shelter that has other teen moms

For one thing, ignore the jerks on here. People make mistakes, but you take responsibility and learn from them. Raising your baby is such an amazing thing. Go through the state for insurance, and see if you can get into a WIC program, they can help you get on your feet and provide essentials for your baby, like formula, and essentials for you, during your pregnancy ( like milk, eggs, and peanut butter). You could also maybe look into local churches and see if they have support groups. Good luck.

Apply for medicaid. You should be able to get it if your pregnant. You can take over the counter prenatals until your first appointment and get a book to read about pregnancy. I am reading What To Expect When Expecting.

Go to your local health department. They will provide you with the info you need and the applications to apply for state assistance. Good Luck!

You need to immediately find your local Medicaid office and apply. It can take 30 days or more for them to process and accept you, and you need prenatal care as soon as possible. You should also look into WIC and perhaps food stamps / welfare until you can find another job position. Good luck.

did they let you go because you are pregnant?? thats illegal. your only option really is to buy insurance or to get married fast. even if you dont live at home, you should still be covered by your parents medical insurance, unless they specifically took you off and if that is the case, that is just plain horrible, what if something horrible were to happen!
