Why does my face turn red when I drink alcohol?

your face can turn red for many reasons, i think it may be because of sulphites. They're in most drinks (especially cheap ones) and i believe they cause capillarys in your face to burst, (a capillary is a very small blood vessle a few cell widths thick) its nothing to worry about but if you drink too much, like alcoholic, it can cause permanent lines to appear. but were talking years of alcohol abuse here. best thing is to try better quality products but the occasional cheap night is no problem.

Because alcohol raises your blood pressure.
