What is the best liquid treatment to use?

I curious about what the best liquid treatment to use to clean your plumbing pipes of the everyday stuff that gets in there. Grease, food, hair etc to keep them clean and running smoothly without damaging them. I have mostly copper pipes but a few pieces have been swapped out for plastic.

    Liquid or chemical treatments are never a good idea. They are temporary at best and sometimes react with the junk in there to cause a bigger problem down the road.
