global warming deniers: where do you get your information?
i read responses to another question and it seems many of you think that the science now tells us that the earth is getting cooler. then, you tell the questioner to "do his homework" while it is you who are going out of your way to be wrong.

this is from noaa. read the part about the seven hottest years on record occurring from 2001 on. they may not be blowhard radio talk show hosts but they still know a bit about the climate.
wow. there are alot of people telling me i'm wrong without any reason whatsoever. there are alot of "follow the money" responses. you follow the money fool. it will lead you to unscrupulous scientists working for the oil and coal industries.

In the 1970's the climate experts were predicting the collapse of our environment within 10 years, with a man made "global cooling" event. Ice sheets were predicted to grow over Canada and northern USA. For the past 12 years, Al Gore has been predicting the collapse of our environment within 10 years due to man made "global warming", with rising seas inundating low lying areas. It still has not happened, and his predictions are 2 years past due.
Global cooling and warming has been going on since the beginning of time, and the cycles will continue to the end of time. It's nature's way.
By the way, your environmental experts are no longer using "global warming" as their tag line. They have recently started using "climate change" because they can not quantify or prove their claims that it is man made.

Here are a couple of answers, and there is a lot of research out there refuting the global warming hoax. The problem is that any scientist that comes forth with facts gets shunned. There are, however, more and more coming forward exposing the hoax. Even Al Gore had to admit that he used exaggerations in his mockumentary for effect.

The fact is that there is a fear industry. The leaders of this industry are politicians and the media. The victims are the people who get taxes raised due to hoaxes blaming man (rather than historic trends) for the climatic changes. It was an impending ice age in the 70s and it is GW now...though they are slowly changing the term to global climate change because of the lack of evidence of current warming.
By the way, Greenland was once a lush green island. That was when the earth was much warmer...and man (according to science) was not even here yet.
Added: You actually think that the money is not favoring global warming nuts? Are you serious? Do you realize that Al Gore's net worth when he left office was around $5 million. Today it is $100 million. And that is ONE MAN. The fear industry is a multi-billion dollar industry.
MSU...that is the funny part. Not only is history against the GW hoax, but science (when not manipulated by money) is against the GW hoax, too.

I don't get how people say "there's no global warming!" and then say "these warming trends are natural earth processes!"
It's either one or the other. Either the globe is getting warmer, or it isn't. You can't have something that is blue, and describe it also as being "not blue", and you can't say the world is NOT getting hotter, while also saying that it IS getting hotter, just in a 'natural' way.
Aren't they tacitly admitting to global warming by saying that the earth IS getting warmer when they say "these are natural earth processes"?
The only question is whether it is man-made or not. This picture proves there is less arctic pack ice, over the span of the last thirty years: http://image.examiner.com/images/blog/wysiwyg/imag...

Actually the hottest years on record were back in the twenties. When they did the warming studies they only went back to the mid seventies. There has been warming and cooling as long as the earth has been. P.S. You need C02 to live. Just like wealth, its not a bad word. Quit reading all the propaganda you want to read and try looking at all sides and then toss in a little logic. You may actually learn something.

As the tornadoes become more intense and kill more people, these naysayers will still link such "anomalies" to something else.
Hurricanes, droughts, and flooding will become so much more common. Climate change is real. Real scientists following the atmospheric science patterns already know this to be fact.

The NOAA you are getting your information from is receiving government money to support the argument that global warming is man-made. Follow the money. You need to move past the political machines, and find the real scientific sources. I want you to watch the video posted below before you make up your mind about this issue and continue to post immature questions like this without doing any of your own research. Good hunting.

Changes In The Sun Are Not Causing Global Warming, New Study Shows

You are so silly... I suggest you read both sides and then make an educated decision.

Well lets see NOAA is ran by the department of Commerce. Which is under control of the Obama administration.
Just like the EPA is & they decided co2 is a dangerous gas. Something we all exhale & plants need to produce the Oxygen we breath.
Do you always believe everything the government tells you or did you just start when Obama got elected?

The earth may be "warming," but it's not man-made. It's called a cycle, and we've learned through years of education that the earth goes through climate cycles that are not caused by man.
