leave the door open for you guys to be friends eventually, bur let him come to you when he is ready and over you. don't go to him that would lead him on and hurt him even more and those aren't your intentions. good luck

If you don't want to hurt him leave him alone. You will lead him on if you talk to him. Even if he says he can handle it, he can't.

I think u should start to talk to him but give him awhile to heal then talk to him and you could just be friends if you want to...
