Walt Disney World Gifts?

I'm taking my friend to Disney World in a couple months and her birthday is coming up. I want to get her a gift relating to our trip. I'm thinking about a Disney World guidebook and some other stuff. I want to get her at least four different gifts that have something to do with Disney World. Can anyone give me some ideas to what gifts I should give her? Thanks!

    All of the above are great suggestions. If you're still looking for more, there are Disney Dollars (which I assume you can purchase before you go?!) as well as a Disney wallet to put them in. That way, although she's had the fun of receiving them as a gift, she then has the fun again in a few weeks when she spends them!

    Have a great time!

    At Disneystore.com you can purchase items that only until now would have to be purchased exclusively at the Disney parks (or on E-Bay). When you go to that website search for Disney parks on the bottom of the home page and it will direct you to park merchandise. I'm sure you'll find several items to choose from that will relate to your trip.

    I suggest getting her a 2009 WDW photo album and/or a T-shirt. Personally our family has enjoyed photo albums with the year of our visit(s). It assures that we never forget when we were there. I don't know if the website has lanyards and Disney pins but that could also make a really good gift. If you do get a lanyard encourage her to wear it to the parks and remind her that she could do some pin trading with many of the Cast Members.

    Another idea would be to go to the Disney website and order personalized maps for free with her name on it. It takes about six weeks to get them, though.

    Your idea about the guidebook is fantastic. I love reading Birnbaum's Official Disney Guidebook although there are others out there that are pretty good, too.

    I most definitely agree with Baloneyus_Monk; you are a good friend.

    That is a great idea! We just got back from Disney World. There are things that you can order that can arrive in your hotel when you get there. That is pretty cool.

    Give her some common sense things, she will thank you later on! A personalized set of Mickey or Minnie ears will win everyone's heart. In the park you can order a Happy Birthday hat, it is also available on www.disneyworld.com. Make fun dinner reservations somewhere and make sure you tell them it is for a birthday. Try for Cinderella's castle or if you have no budget, make reservations at Victoria and Albert's. What about a special spa day for the girls? The Grand Floridian has lots of options. Buy her a handheld fan to stick in her purse.

    Vera Bradley's hipster comes in handy at the parks, it fits a bottle of water, a small fan and her ID and tickets, we used mine everyday!

    Order a Disney Album to remember your trip.

    I hope all of these ideas help.

    Have fun!

    what about a photo album from disney. I have been so many times and each time buy a new photo album for my pics so why not buy one of the albums from the parks. there are some really lovely albums to buy. get something she can wear as well, maybe a hoodie or a tshirt. there are four different main parks what about a gift from each??? i have mugs from each park, they all have the year on them, the ones i buy. Also what would be really lovely is a professional photo done, there are photgraphers everywhere in disney and you can get photos done in any or all of the parks if you like. but that would be a lovely gift and something you will always remember :-)

    You are a wonderful friend. I think the guide book is a great idea. Some other things you can do are Mickey Mouse ears, a personalize tee-shirt. And then put everything is a Disney World tote bag. Everything but the guide book can be bought at disney store online.I have been to Disney World more times then I can count, and all these things will be useful when you all are there.

    Have a great trip

    You could give her the Disney Guidebook...

    also if you have a local disney store, try going there to find stuffed animals, cups and other memorabilia related to Disney!

    Wow a trip to disney and four gifts. Well maybe you should make the gifts related to all four parks? Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Animal Kingdom. Uhm. I think they have small models of cinderella castle and all the park trademarks.

    I don't recall seeing any Disney inspired patterns. I recall when I went in the gift shops by Y&Y that everything looked very authentic. I would guess the price from $30-$50.

    A lanyard and a pin to get the pin trading started;

    An autograph book;

    A picture frame;

    As many pictures of the two of you so she'll remember the trip forever!

    A Disney coffee mug of her favorite character.

    A pin of her favorite character on a lanyard to start her collection.
