My cat's fur seems unhealthy looking?
My 1 year old Snowshoe kitten has been looking a bit "unhealthy." The reason is her fur is a bit greasier than normal , and she seems to shed a lot more than our 10month old kitten ? I have a furminator and I give her fish oil supplements (for pets), purchased at Pet food express. She eats quality hollistic food . Any ideas on how to get her looking and feeling better ?

Cut the fish oil supplements in half. Brush her once a day. Make sure that she's not too cold or too warm during the day and night. Try adding some dry food to her diet (do it slowly, about 1/8th at a time until it's half of what she eats during the day). A Snowshoe kitten has a 'fluffy coat' and you are giving her too much fat, which makes her coat 'greasy' looking. Take the 'furminator' away, too ... if she's 'hooked' on that, she could be rubbing the grease off it and onto her fur more than just 'de-shedding.'

Well if he is a Persian he's a very badly bred one. His ears are WAYYYY too big and his face is all wrong! No one can tell you by looking at a photo whether your cat is healthy or not. Get him to a vet for a checkup and his shots. Why haven't you?

Take her to the vet. Many times cats and dogs can have things that are untreatable at home.
