Fruits Basket? Anime vs Manga?

Manga definitely!! the anime wasn't as good as the manga.

i think you should read over the manga because the anime skipped out alot of details that you should not miss.

I read some of the manga first, then watched the anime. If you haven't read any of it, just go back and start from the beginning :3 They changed the plot in the anime a bit from the manga, plus the manga is a bit more detailed~

I think the anime ended around book 8, but I'm not quite sure...

The ending's kind of different, but the manga's the same up to the point after Shissou leaves the next day ^_^

You should start reading at ch 35, some things will repeat, but that's cause they changed the order in the anime =P
