She has a slight fever, but a fever lasting over (even if it is only 100) several days should be brought to her pediatrician's attention.

Wow... There is a lot of bad advice here...
A temperature of 100.0 is fine. A fever begins at approximately 1.8° F + nominal normal (i.e. nominal normal for an oral temperature is 98.6° F, so 98.6 + 1.8 = 100.4° F); but even at 100.4° F, the body is fighting a good fight and is this is not bad. At 100.0° F, there is nothing to worry about (yet). Monitor your daughter, make sure she drinks plenty of water (an occasional Gatorade or Pedialyte type drink is acceptable); but do not give her any medications.
If the fever goes above 100.5° F, then a dose of ibuprofen or acetaminophen might be useful, but only if your daughter is not acting normal; and then only per the directions on the bottle. Any fever greater than 102.0° F should be evaluated by her pediatrician; and above 102.5 would be worth trip to the emergency department.
Of course, let your daughter's "animation" be a guide too: if she is acting normal at 102, then she will probably be okay; but if she is lethargic at 100, then see her doctor or go to emergency.
Cheers!

You should take her to the doctor so they can run some tests to find out what kind of infection she is fighting. No she shouldn't have a fever for days like that. It isn't a really high fever so she should keep doing all her normal activities. have you tried giving her tylenol or motrin to bring the fever down? You could do that...but I would still call her doctor and make an appointment. She has a fever because her body is fighting an infection. At two she probably won't tell you if she does have other symptoms. She needs to be checked though. They can run blood work, or urine to see if she has a UTI or kidney infection or something else. Take her in tomorrow.

How are you taking her temp? Could be user error, but even if not, 100 isn't really a cause for alarm, 2 y.o. kids can run high like that, particularly with a mild cold. But you might want to call your nurse/doc just to run by any other changes that you've noticed but neglected to post through inadvertence (or not being asked the right questions!)

children's temperatures can fluctuate throughout the day (as can an adults) depending on weather, clothing they are wearing and the activities they are doing. I wouldn't worry about it right now sweetie especially if your child is not showing any signs of sickness. Keep the fluids up to your child and keep her eating, plenty of fresh air outside too will do her good. Unless she starts to show signs of ill health I really wouldn't worry at this time sweetie. If you are concerned though for any reason, head to the doctor but otherwise just let her play xx

Her temperature should not be 100. You don't need to rush off to the emergency room just yet, but you should probably make an appointment with your pediatrician. If the temp goes up from 100 then you really need to worry.

You should take her to the doctor. A temperature is the boday's way of telling you that something is wrong!!! Symptoms or not take her! It's better to be safe than sorry! Try some tylenol and if that doesnt work get her seen asap!

it could be many things, there could be an infection somewhere in her body. It is our bodys natural defense to put off heat to fight off bactria or a virus by heat because they like to grow in normal body temp so the temp goes up to kill them. I would def say something is wrong. What it may be could be many possible things, i would just watch her and if the temp doesnt go down or starts to get higher call her doctor and let them know they will tell you if she needs to come in.
