C&A Survey: (>^.^)> Which type of Anime or/and Manga do you Prefer...? <(^.^<)?

... so I'm having stress relief right now. xD

I just finished an essay for history, anyways. :|

+++ Do you Prefer Longer or Shorter Anime? What about Manga? Why? +++

:::: I don't care how long or short the series is. I just want it to be good. After all, I only watch anime if I've already watched the manga, and had found it to be really good. xD I prefer the 100 or so episode kind, though. Anything 200+ episodes is too long for me. xD Unless it's REALLY good. o.O" ... though I did like shorter series like OHSHC... because it was good.

For manga, if it's completed and semi-short, then it's fine.

The shortest I've read are series like Bitter Virgin. I liked that series. I generally prefer the longer series-- I like, for example:

-Bleach (350+ chapters :: been reading it for a long time)

-Eyeshield 21 (330+ chapters :: it's AWESOME. Hilarious and action-packed.)

-Katekyo Hitman Reborn! (240+ chapters :: same as ES21 with better looking, more lovable, characters. xD)

... etc.

:::: Manga. It's laid out in pictures, and most times it's labeled by chapter. Makes it easy to find things when you go back to look and search for something. Also, manga is more continuous for me, since I watch anime sporadically, mostly. xD I mean, if I find an anime series and get hooked on it, then I watch a lot in a row. Then I have an inactive (for anime) period. But I always read manga, every week.

... I like the art better, too. Art in manga reveals more of the characters' mood and all...

And there are the mangaka's notes, if you read it in the tankobon version... and if you read it online, there are the scanlating team's notes. Those are interesting to read. They sometimes explain things about the plot.

-Manga because it's much more detailed and no pointless fillers (some chapters are fillers, but not so much though)

12 episode anime are usually the best. By this I mean 12 episodes per season. Long runners are usually boring and lack a plot. There are, of course, exceptions. Cardcaptor Sakura has 70 episodes, yet it's a great anime.

shorter for both because then i don't have to be kept in suspense for long & can find the ending quicker. also my computer can't handle long stuff & i get frustrated chasing up long manga.

Anime. I'm not really sure because I've only just started to read manga, but the music and visual effects while watching anime gives you an impression of what it's supposed to be like in actuality, rather than assuming something wrong.
