help reading HPT,any one know what this means?

I took hom preg test this morning, after about 4 tht were negtive, I am 10m days late, and the only other symptom i have is the occsional wave of blagh! and my breasts are a little tender. but not bad. any way; i took a first morning sample, and it too looked to be negative but upon further examination I saw 3 little blue dots in the upper right hand corner, where it may begin to form the positive sign, The test says that the line may be fainter thn the other, however this could hardly be called a line. what do you think, i know i should probably retest, im just tired of spending money, and wish my body would just work right.

Update:

I dont like the +/- tests either, however they were the only ones that the store iws at carried, and i had my toddler son, sister and baby niece with me, so I grabbed that one. I do prefer the answer, thats how I tested my other 4.

Update 2:

yes both lines did appear, I think im going to retest in a few days if aunt flo doesnt visit by then.

The test could have been damaged, I would not trust this test. Take another in a couple of days, hGC levels vary in individuals and there might not be enough in your system to produce a positive result yet. (also I have looked on peeonastick.com and they do not recommend the +/- tests).

Hey there here's a suggestion: don't purchase any more pregnancy test. You stated you were 10 days late and believe it or not it happens more often than you think and the result is not always pregnancy. Secondly, follow the instructions of the pg test verbatim. Also, hon we've all been tempted to look at the test after the time has expired to see if it is indeed positive.....but don't. Lastly, Stop torturing yourself like that. Don't spend money and retest. Relax and see a doctor for a blood test. Everything will work out the way it should. Good luck and take care.

there should be a control line also that appears regardless your results. did it appear? if not id say retake the test. ones at the dollar store will be accurate this far along and they only cost a buck. or go to thehealth clinic for free.

I think it would be best to retest because it wasn't a line, per say. I tempted to say it's still positive though but it would definitely be better to retest.
