If you mean latex paint try to remove as much paint as you can before it dries.
Flush the paint from the fabric with a forceful stream of warm water.
Work the stain with a solution of liquid dish soap and water, or laundry detergent and water
Work it into the stain, soaping and rinsing until the stain is removed.
For a colour fast fabric can work in some automatic dishwasher detergent and let it soak on the fabric for 5 to 10 minutes before laundering as usual.
Can also try a stain remover.
On fabrics such as cotton and polyester, try spraying the the garment with oven cleaner and letting it sit about 15 to 30 minutes before flushing with plenty of water.
For oil based paint, not let the paint dry.
Can use paint thinner or thinner for correction fluid works, should test an area first.
Can try turpentine if all else fails, and work in a Go-Jo Creme Waterless Hand Cleaner.
Remember to dispose of turpentine soaked rags or paper towels outside, as soon as possible.
When working on a paint spill work from the back of the fabric over a thick pad of paper towels. Tap the stained area with an old toothbrush or wooden spoon as you work to force the paint out.
Now that you have removed the stain, saturate it with detergent work in vigorously. Cover the area with the hottest water, and soak over night. Scrub again between your thumbs, and launder as usual.

If you let the paint dry then you are out of luck.
