I am having severe headaches! Help?

I have been having severe headaches for the past week! My symptoms include pain in the crown and temples of my head. Basically all over my head and alot of pressure behind my nose area. I feel like im full and stuffy in my head. I do not feel sick in any form or fashion. I also have some tension in my neck. I am not vomiting or anything? What could this be?? Help me find an answer if you could

It sounds like a tension headache of some type. These are pretty usual, but if it is really severe and prolonged you should seek the help of a doctor, who will order blood work and MRI's.

If you want to read about the common types of headaches, here's a starting point:

There are many more kinds than that, though, and it will take a doctor and some tests to figure it out.

But don't wait until it's too late - headaches are more serious than people make them out to be. If these become chronic, you could lose your job or your grades in school.

It sounds like sinus pressure and headaches as a result. Go get some claratin or zyrtec. They're available over the counter at the drug store. You can also take tylenol and benadryl in the meantime, but the benadryl will make you sleepy, so don't take it if you have to drive or work. Claratin and zyrtec are long acting so you won't feel better until tomorrow, but one pill should last 24 hours.

You've likely got a sinus infection or similar virus. You should go to the doctor to get it checked out.
