So was Eminem in on the 2009 MTV Bruno stunt?

After Eminem's made fun of Moby in one of his songs then not being able to take Triumph The Insult Comic Dog jokes about him and storming off show. I wonder if this years stunt with Bruno was staged with him involved? If not thats way too funny. I lost all respect for Eminem when he showed he can dish it out but he can't take it. What a mommies boy!

yes it was planned and he was in on the joke. just search for it on web the joke writer Scott Aukerman for mtv awards has it on his blog. This makes me look at EMINEM in a different way cmon eminem really??????????

    Em tells RapRadar.com:

“Sacha called me when we were in Europe and he had an idea to do something outrageous at the Movie Awards. I’m a big fan of his work so I agreed to get involved with the gag. I’m thrilled that we pulled this off better than we rehearsed it. It had so many people going “nuts” so to speak. Everyone was blowing me up about it. After the ceremony I went back to my hotel and laughed uncontrollably for about 3 hours. Especially after I saw it on air.”

    wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was kind of alarming how mad Eminem got at the awards show, and I thought there would be a bitter feud between the two. Now, thanks to a writer at MTV who finally leaked the truth to the media, we all know that the scene was staged. Bruno got together with Eminem before the awards show to practice the outrageous stunt. Cohen and Eminem had talked about it while in Europe, and finalized everything once they got back to the states. Definitely showed that Eminem could be a good sport even when he's the "butt" of the joke.

It was staged the Head director admitted it in his blog. The actually practiced the scene, Eminem didn't expect Bruno's man goods to be all in face though. So that probaly helped it seem a little real.

Supposedly Eminem was in on the stunt or aware that Bruno was going to fall on him during the show BUT ( pardon the pun ) he wasn't aware that Bruno was going to drop on top of him with his BUTT in his face.

So the 1st part was staged but his outrage was real not staged.

I can see where he may of been taken a little off guard having the guys butt in his face but hey ya gotta go with the flow or you just look like an a*s.

Yeah sure get a little upset but blow it off and move on so you you look like you can take a joke.

Eminem got balls in his face. I'm pretty sure any guys would have done something and walked away. I'm not going to sit for another 1 hour and a half and acted like nothing is going to happen. Eminem made a smart move by leaving. I'm sure anybody can feel his pain but bad karma happens.

Personally I think he was in on it. Just because alot of the Award Show stunts that Sacha Baron Cohen pulls are pre-planned with the person he does it with. Also, even before Cohen lands on Eminem, the camera pulls a quick focus onto Eminem, to let the audience know he's there.

I work in live television, and i can say this was very clearly a staged event.

The evidence is in the camera angles.

before sasha even begins to fall,

there was a camera already zoomed in on a tight shot of eminem.

Thats all you need to see, to know it was planned.

If I was Eminem, I would have stormed out too. That was just wrong. I read somewhere that Bruno's stunt had gone wrong. Words are one thing, but having someone's crotch and bare butt in your face is just gross.

your post has some ignorance in it no offense it's different when your making fun a person on a video or by what you say then actually putting a person in a situation like that even if it was staged that wasn't funny it was more disrespect full to em more than anything but i guess that goes to show how Shitty MTV really is

Source(s): remember em's never actually set up someone like that he's only made fun of people using actors in his vids or w/e but it's never been the actual person themself
