While I imagine this question is meant as a joke I'll bite.
I answered a similar one not long ago...http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=200904...
Hope the link helps.
I am a Christian, one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
While there are SOME elements that might bother SOME people, I personally don't have any/many issues with Pokemon, aside from the idea of Pokeballs seeming somewhat cruel.
I own/have owned, Pokemon, Red?, Blue, Yellow, Gold (multiple copies), Silver (multiple copies), Crystal, Ruby, Saphire, Diamond (multiple copies), Pearl (multiple copies), along with several of the spin off games.

If it wasn't for the evolving part, I might have banned Pokemon in my house.
"Are those hundreds of Pokemon cards all over my living room floor...AGAIN?!?!?!"
And to evolve does not only mean organic evolution. The term just means gradual change. Metamorphosis, Pokemon changing into new types, as well as changing your mind over time, getting used to your wife's snoring, are all examples of evolving. The word "evolution" though, has been reserved as a technical biology term.

Pokémon evolution is nothing like the theory of evolution. The Theory takes place over millions of years (supposedly), while Pokémon can do it multiple times in one lifetime. So as the other posters have said, that's more metamorphosis or mutation than evolution.
Not to mention some folk believe that God created evolution.

The creators of Pokemon have taken plenty of flak for a number of things (mostly from over-protective, fundamentalist parents), teaching the theory of evolution being one, I never really considered the fact as a kid, I just cared about making them stronger :)

Evolution is when one animal becomes another animal through generations.
Evolution on Pokemon is like when a baby is born and he becomes a child then goes into puberty and then becomes an adult

--Pokemon evolution is based on metamorphosis.
Source(s): http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Evolution Evolution in Pokémon, for most species, is more akin to metamorphosis than to actual evolution. This is because real life evolution happens to a population rather than to individuals, and happens over much larger time scales than in the Pokémon world. However, this does not necessarily mean that evolution in real-world terms does not exist in the Pokémon world, the existence of "extinct" Pokémon backs this up. - MSBLv 71 decade ago
When pokemon first became popular in America back in like the early 90's, there was a Christian campaign against them because they were "monsters" who had "powers."
Similar to the campaigns against things like Harry Potter today.

That "Evolution" is more of a bad translation of "Metamorphosis". Is it now a sin to believe in butterflies?
The only sinful lesson of Pokemon is that you can earn trophies by making animals brutally fight each other.

This is hate speech.
Squirtle would totally kick Charizard's ***
