Has anyone on this forum actually read Obama's proposals? Are we all aware that Obama put out a "white paper" on June 2nd which details his proposals? Are you guys also aware that there is a group of Republicans coming up with their own plan?
I would like for the asker to click the link below, find the link for Obama's white paper, find the stipulation in Obama's white paper proposal that he/she is referring to, and post for the group where Obama is proposing a tax on health care benefits.
Feel free to educate yourselves while you are at it.

No it isn't, dear. Obama has repeatedly stated that he isn't thinking about that at all. Why don't you people understand how a law is written?? Didn't you take government or, at the very least, watch 'I'm a bill on Capital Hill"??
The FACT is: When a bill is being written, dozens of people come up with ideas for that bill. Some of the ideas are good, some ok, and some complete stupidity. This is one of numerous ideas that someone has pushed forward. That in NO WAY means Obama agrees with that idea, nor that it will be in the final bill.

And why is that? Could it be that your multimillionaire/billionaire pharmaceutical and medical executives (who are nearly all doctors) refuse to take a pay cut? I can certainly understand, since private chauffeurs, Learjet pilots, pool maintenance personnel, gardeners, masseuses, and manicurists cost a fortune.
