Had I found the earliest surviving question in Yahoo! Answers?

I have browsed every category and looked for resolved questions.

The question at http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Atd2k... turns out to be made on July 5, 2005. However, further research about Yahoo! Answers yielded a launching date of December 7, 2005.

So, is the question I pointed out one of the oldest remaining remnants of Yahoo! Answers' past?

I think you are on to a bit of history, I believe Yahoo was testing the site in early 05, & officially launched in Dec. 05.. Kind of like a store opening , & running a bit to get out the kinks before holding the grand opening, & making it official, I found dates the same as you did when researching your question. So I would not call it remaining remnants of a Y/A past, but the unofficial beginning of the current one*

Yes, it is one of the oldest remaining questions.

I also checked some past questions and found out this one:

"How do I decide on a good magic set for children (about 8 years old)?"

    http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=As...

The answerer said it was according to Yahoo!. But he didn't put his source.

some Amish use computers, yet i think of they could draw the line at coming right here. or perhaps you recommend some that are on Rumspringa. Yeah, they could come right here. Amish are not against technologies, yet they're slow to settle for it. some have turbines to run refrigeration kit for the milk. they could use computers to do the books, yet they're much less possibly to hook up with the internet.
