Remembering my first love?

" The Four Seasons "

The passing years, "Four Seasons

as always come and go

like all the Summer flowers

that die 'neath Winter's snow.

Yet comes the Spring as always it will

to push aside old Winter's chill

then once again when flowers bloom,

and Spring, it does break through

to rid the world of all its gloom

and bring me thoughts of you.

The wet and lonely streets I walk

when Fall it does arrive

with leaves of gold and brown,

all piled side by side.

In a puddle I see, reflections of one

under a deep, deep sky of blue,

But thinking back through all the seasons

and remembering when there were two.
