Is it legal to have TWO separate file numbers under one ssn? I have them in front of me, and there is not a single difference in name, address, etc. What to do?

I don't know about if it is legal - it probably does not matter. Perhaps one is a more current date? If so, that is most likely the one in use.
I would confirm the above and contact Transunion either way to clarify.
Is any information incorrect or suspicious?
If so, you may have an Identity theft problem.
Source(s): I had identify theft issue - only in my case they changed my birthdate, or misspelled my name or changed one number in my SS. This was on different reports and different bureaus, not on one report.
