TransUnion Complaints - Possible Class Action?
Is there anyone out there that has had any complaints of Trans Union's service? I currently have a complaint in with the Pennsylvania Attorney General and they are willing to act if more people will step forward and file formal complaints...
1 AnswerCredit1 decade agoDebt Validation Question?
I have read and am semi-well versed on the FDCPA and FCRA. Within five days of its first communication to you, the debt collector is responsible for sending you a debt validation notice.
What happens if you pull your report(s) and notice a company that has been on there for several years and NEVER initiated any sort of contact with you?
4 AnswersCredit1 decade agoTransunion Questions?
Is it legal to have TWO separate file numbers under one ssn? I have them in front of me, and there is not a single difference in name, address, etc. What to do?
1 AnswerPersonal Finance1 decade agoTwo Transunion Reports?
Is this legal to be listed two times under 1 social security number with Transunion? My name and everything is the same, but they have two reports for me...can I request deletion of one?
2 AnswersCredit1 decade agoSuing Collection Agencies?
I have read, and am semi-well-versed, on the FCRA and the FDCPA...I have sent letters via UPS Second Day Air and the 30-day time limit has passed, and want to have these items removed from credit report and these agencies to pay for their laziness...however, two obstacles I need help with:
1) Credit Bureaus can mark your file with a 'red flag' and call your claims frivolous if you dispute too many at once (not my fault the information ended up there, but I did do a mass dispute with all 3)
2) What jurisdiction do I file suit? My own, or the jurisdiction of the C.A.?
Any help would be great.
1 AnswerCredit1 decade agoIf You Have A felony warrant, can a force his way in if a friend says you aren't there?
If your mom, friend, whatever says you aren't at home, what kind of paperwork is needed by a cop to forcefully enter your home to search for you (if you are even there)? What if they don't read your rights to you?
4 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police1 decade agoA Question About Credit Disputing!!!! Please Help!?
When someone goes through Bankruptcy, your assigned attorney sends your creditors a letter demanding they prove 5 important pieces of information about the account in question, then tells them to remove it or else (a good threat letter).
Where can I get a basic "form letter" like that so I can get these accounts that aren't mine off my credit report?
Asset Acceptance is on my credit report and I have no idea why....they will not remove themselves (along with several others.)
Any help or websites or form letters I can send to these guys would be great!

1 AnswerOther - United States1 decade agoQuestion about Body Attachments?
If someone has left state and gets pulled over and has a body attachment in a different state, do they hold you or do they have to let you go since the entitlement to the body attachment was for a specific address in the issuing state?
2 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police1 decade agoLeaving state on probation?
My ex-girlfriend left state while on probation (fraud charge). She is also court ordered to pay child support...2 questions:
1) How can I find her so I can knock some sense into her and get her to turn herself in? Can she be found even if she is not working, not using credit cards and staying out of trouble?
2) What will her charges be and how serious of time is she looking at? I don't want to scare her but I guess she'll need the truth.
Thank you for answering...
4 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoQuestion about a runaway child?
Scenerio:
Mom loses custody of child because of a neglect of a dependent charge. Son becomes a ward of the state. Son is placed in state-approved foster care. Son runs away, mom helps harbor him to a different state. (3 state lines, mind you).
What can she be charged with?
2 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoHelp is needed! Trying to Gather Useful Info!?
Ok, when someone is on the run and leaves state, how often do they check your social security number to locate it's last usage? And what databases do they access to find this info? My buddy has been runnin' for awhile and I cannot find him anymore, but last email I got he was working...just didn't say where!
Second, do driver's licenses have GPS enablement in them? Someone said they did.
I guess what I am asking is how often do they try and seek out a person? He has a Petition to Revoke on a Fraud Charge. Only facing a year....Do they have detectives working around the clock on stuff like this?

2 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoQuestion about homeless shelters?
Do all require ID to stay? Do they run police checks for admission, or do the cops call and ask for a list of names to run an NCIC on for warrants?
2 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoQuestion about relocation?
Ok, I want to relocate and find a better way for myself. So my question is, if I was to move and get a better job and warrants were issued in the state I just left, how long would I have before they found me AND would they let me return to the state I just got situated in? Possible body attachment for failure to pay fines and fees; possible warrant for failure to appear in court and petition to revoke suspended sentence.
I just wanted to know before I began weighing my options. I do not need to know that I am ignorant for moving with possible trouble lurking. Just wanted to know if I could actually be able to get situated and possibly be able to negotiate with a lawyer I hire in another state.
