Leaving state on probation?

My ex-girlfriend left state while on probation (fraud charge). She is also court ordered to pay child support...2 questions:

1) How can I find her so I can knock some sense into her and get her to turn herself in? Can she be found even if she is not working, not using credit cards and staying out of trouble?

2) What will her charges be and how serious of time is she looking at? I don't want to scare her but I guess she'll need the truth.

Thank you for answering...

Update:

She isn't dumb...she'll avoid welfare, working and trouble. But how can you find a person that DOESNT work, DOESNT receive AID, and doesnt do stupid stuff? Can she be caught if she stays in a shelter?

On probation for fraud and skipping out on child support, eh?

Looks like she doesn't want to be found. Guess you'll have to make her come to you.

    What is SHE looking for?

I guess since you know that she left the state that you have some idea where she could be. If she is caught, then the remainder of her probation will probably be revoked. She does not have to leave a trail to get caught. If she drives then sooner or later she will be pulled over and the police will realize that she has a warrant for her arrest. It never fails, she will get caught, but it will take awhile. Also, how is she going to live if she does not work? If she gets a place in her name, then she will be found. If she gets a phone in her name, she will be located. It will just take some time.

She could, and likely will, go back to jail to serve out the rest of the sentence for which she was on probation. At some point, she will miss a meeting with her PO, and a warrant will likely be issued for her arrest. If she doesn't pay the child support, call the local district attorney's office. They should have someone who deals with delinquent child support. They will be able to find her if she is working or receiving any kind of public support.

You say ex-girlfriend,are the kids your and hers?If not,I say let her go..,she hasnt changed thus far,so I doubt if she will ever.No matter how much you try to talk to her..,it won't help. She has crappy character and you can't change that in someone.I say cut your losses and let her go,she will only cause you the grief she is causing you right now.Good luck. The law will catch up to her eventually, just dont get dragged down with her.
