Who is attending a Tea Party on July 4th?
The Tea Party movement will hold another round of Tea Parties on July 4th. Who's planning to attend one? I'm a tea party leader in my town and we're having a picnic, giving away pocket constitutions and having live entertainment and guest speakers on the 2nd amendment, state sovereinty, etc., along with lots of activities and games for kids.

I'm not surprised but I am happy to see a few libs on here that no matter the differences are open minded enough to support our rights. There are a lot of people out there that are pushing us to physically explode in anger. But if we are going to change anything we have to take a deep breath and do the right thing. So have a great time in Dallas and keep it civil. Ours was canceled as well.

I'd rather go to the parade, spend time with family, and see fireworks than stand around with a bunch of whiners who don't know what they are protesting about. I have nothing against protesting, but these things don't seem to have any focus at all! Just hanging around whining about things that haven't even happened yet.
But I'm just weird that way, sometimes I like to spend time thinking about the good things about my life and my country.

Another tea-bagger party? Why? It's just a bunch of racists rednecks attempting to protest because the GOP lost the election and they can't get over the fact that it was a black man. And they can't stand it that he is doing such a great job. LOL

Not me. I'll be spending it with FAMILY. I would definitely not want to expose the family to that kind of scene with all the irrational bigots planning to show up. It isn't family friendly. I'll enjoy time with family, good barbecue and fireworks without the secessionists and irrational lunatic bigots, thanks.
