What book would you say displays human nature in a good light?

I'd rather it be a classic of sorts.... something that's familiar to people. If you feel up to it, give me a book that also displays bad human nature.

    G The Kumarajiva translation of the Lotus Sutra. If that is too arcanefor you, try Daisaku Ikeda's works on the Lotus Sutra. If that is too extensive for you, get "The Reluctant Buddhist."
