career prob. my mom says there is no need to do bbit cuz it takes 4 years and all you get is to work till 5p.m?

and then i wont be able to take care of my family after marriage. and all i should do is a simple B.A and then M.A cuz its easy and takes only two years. and after that i can be a lecturer.

now the problem is that i would like to do BBIT but do not like to work till 5pm. cuz then my family willl be neglected.

and would like my studies to be short and easy but i dont want to be a lecturer. cuz i dont think im good with communitcation which is imp. for the job.

now i have done my I.C.S (i.e computers, physics, mathematics) and i dont know what i should study next.

(BBIT= becholar in business and information technology

and B.A= becholar in arts)

Update:

im a B+ student. they get through BBIT right?

and my mom also works. she is a doctor.

with all due respect, your mom is old fashion. I am a working woman and my family is satisfied. BBIT is the way to go... don't get stuck with anything else because you might end up working longer hours. If you like IT just do it.

i agree with the first answer! You need to do what YOU feel is best. This is your life and career, not your moms!! In the end, what would help your family the most? Go with BBIT!!!! Wife and mom of 2 going to Nursing School which will take me 2 1/2 years.

Like many graduates over here in the UK, you will find that industry at large knows the difference between hard workers and idlers. They start by examining the educational records of young applicants.

We now have thousands of basically unemployable youngsters with degrees worth (in your language) diddly squat!

Get off yer backside and EARN your qualifications!
