I would listen to Inspirational Music to motivate me to get out of the heartache and into being thankful for what I do have. We have to encourage ourselves and do things to help ourselves to feel better by listening to music or doing something with a positive message or benefit. I am sure what you are going through is painful and that you are hurting inside and are going through many emotional ups and downs. Inspirational music doesn't deny that you hurt, but helps you to praise your problems or pain away by focusing on what you have to look forward to. When we have a breakup, it doesn't mean life is over, it means we have to go a different way now and be able to trust God and those that care about us to help us through the hard times until things get better. I will try to post a few songs, the one website that was posted that was a radio station with uplifting music was awesome because it was uplifting music with all different music types so it would suite your taste for music and like she said if it is a song you don't like you can forward it to the next song. April if I can help you in anyway or you just need to talk please email me so I can be of help to you.

Langhorne Slim - Although it's full of heartbreak, he's such a poetic songwriter, and it's great to relate to somebody else who's moping too! :)
As far as happy music after a breakup? Mates of State. They're a husband / wife group, that make the happiest music ever. It will definitely make you smile!

The haunting soprano of Loreena McKennitt on her album "The Visit." She sings Celtic music, and Greensleeves and The Lady of Shalott are on that album.

If you insist on shedding a few tears I would suggest Meatloaf "Bat out of Hell". If you want something more empowering Listen to Frank Zappa's song entitled "Broken Hearts Are For A**holes".

Don't look back on the bad times honey, if it didn't work it's not worth it. Life's too short for regrets. Life is a beautiful thing and there is so much to smile about. Keep smiling, Keep your chin up and always believe in yourself.
