obama is only a black man being used to get the black vote back.and a few dumba*s white twenty somethings.csapn showed several different conferences with jackson and sharpton (before the election),and they were all asking these crowds what has the dem party done for them.they all said they were all feeling like they were being used for the vote. the dem machine has been working on this for awhile now.dem governs from all states were offer free drivers licenses to illegal mexicans and in some state were offered better tuition to state college than home town kids(like in kansas).in most states all you need is a licenses to vote .a little fishy sounding huh.? like i said the dem machine has been working on this for awhile ,that is why all these laws and bills are passing through so quickly they had these things written along time ago just waiting for this moment.i had the privilege to see and hear obama speak at a conference in Topeka kansas before he was president.he is a great speaker and i walked away very charged after his speech ,a great speaker he is .but if you really listen to what his says ,it all smoke and mirrors,there is no meat to it he doesn't.following with what he says.that is why it was so easy to get the young and dumb twenty something vote ,a couple of words hope and change,and a couple of great speeches and they were hooked.obama is being used by the dem machine plain and simple

Yes, I have. He was my state's US senator and I saw him at fundraisers and other functions without a teleprompter and without note cards. He is a good speaker who is very comfortable in front of crowds.

I am scratching my head about this complaint after 8 years of Bush butchering the English language and sounding like a moron whenever he went off the teleprompter. Uhh, uhh, would be the least of his worries when fish and humans coexist or we try to put food on our families, or other famous Bushisms.

Yes, he says a lot of "uhs." That often implies that the speaker is thinking about the answer. His answers are so far superior to those of his predecessor that I will gratefully and gladly take a few "uhs" over what we had for the previous 8 long years.

Teleprompters were used by the president before he came into office. (Bush, Clinton, etc.)

By the way, all of the "uh's," "um's," etc., are called vocalized pauses and don't necessarily reflect the speaker's credibility or lack there of.
