which is the better gun? springfield trp (stainless model) or dan wesson pm7?

these are the two guns Ive narrowed my selection down to. they are both used (both excellent condition) and have almost identical price tags. which is the better gun? Im talking about accuracy and reliability. (the trp has aftermarket adjustable sights) will be used only for target shooting at the range and the occasional competition

I have two Dan Wesson 1911 pattern pistols, so I would probably lean that way but the TRP is supposed to be a very nice pistol.

    Dan Wesson

I think I'd choose the TRP. They are really nice. I'm not as familiar with Wesson. A few guys in my club have them, but I've never shot one...

You couldn't go wrong with either one but I have always drooled over some of the early Dan Wesson models (especially the Razorback).

Whichever one feels best in your hand and on your side, buy with confidence.

If they're almost the same price, I would go with the Springfield just because they have a better track record and Springfield is a very reputable manufacturer.
