After how many months will someone need to wait until they cannot get an abortion?

Update:

I'm not the father, I just know someone who has been pregnant for about 5 months now.

12 weeks is the lastest. Unless there is something wrong with the baby. They will do it up to 24 weeks. And for those of you that say this is wrong. When that is the question then give your thoughts on it. Other wise pertend it's your teenage daughter or granddaughter then talk. You don't know why people think to do what they do. And I have never met a person in my life with a right to judge anyone else for any reason. So back off and go back in your glass house.

relies upon on the place you're at. There are some states that are the 1st trimester basically meaning 13wks. Others are 16wks. this is been a protracted time considering the fact that i've got heard of a state doing an abortion after 16wks. i think it became into Cal. that had partial start abortions (so incorrect... i'm able to guard each and every thing else yet heavily it extremely is a guy or woman then), yet they have been attempting to place a provide as much as that.

some states will not do an abortion after the 13th week or 3 months the longer someone waits the more dangerous the procedure is. Each state has their own laws and requirements. I would suggest contacting your local clinic for detailed information.

LEGALLY abortions are permitted until 24 weeks, but most clinics have their own restrictions. MOST doctors WILL NOT abort a pregnancy beyond 15 weeks UNLESS there is a valid reason. The woman's life has to be on the line or the fetus has to be fatally ill. Most doctors will not abort on the whim of the woman.

As far as I know 3 months is the cut off. There are options if you need help, planned parenthood facilities can help out if you are thinking about abortion or contact a local church (even if you're not a member) if you're looking for an alternative.

It depends on where you live. Usually 24 weeks (5-6 months) is the latest but more often you'll have a hard time finding a provider once you get into the 3rd and 4th month depending on where you live.

  • ur lucky if u can find someone who will perform an abortion much past 3 months, 20 weeks is the legal limit but u would pay over the odds to get such a late abortion done.

so i'd say after 3 months is when they cant get an abortion as its very very hard after that point cuz most doctors will be unwilling to perform one after that.

Depending where in the world you are, most place say up to 17 weeks, and i have heard others will allow you to go till 22wks. It all depends on the clinic/hospital/doctors.

And the further along you are the procedure will take longer.
