and will growl/sometimes snap at me if I try to go lay down/touch her... But if I give him a lil love and attention/rubs he'll be all fine and won't care one bit after that. I've wondered if it's protection for her or jealously for my attention? My second question which bugs me to no end is that he'll only let ME know that he needs to use the bathroom. If I'm at my desk, right when I get off to go to sleep he'll start whining and only come to me to take him out, even if my gf is in the room. If he needs to go in the middle of the night he'll gently scratch at my arm or face until I get up, then when he see's that I'm awake he gets all hyped to go outside and do his business. My girlfriend and I have had him for 5&1/2yrs and he's been like this since I can remember. My gf and I both love him and are nice to him, but I definitely give him more attention and rubs, not to mention I'm the one to always feeds him and play with him. I imagine he see's me as the dominant male and that's why he only comes to me for anything like food or needing to go potty, but it's always confused how he'll growl at me and snap at me if I ignore him and go straight to my gf without giving him attention first... He's a little dog, like a chihuahua/shitzhu mix I think. I'm only curious about the matter but appreciate any answers/feedback. Thanks for your time.

I showed up to work as scheduled only to find that the schedule was changed and no attempts to inform me were made. So I had to leave only to come back 6 hours later for my changed shift. I commute 50 minutes to work and it was a huge inconvenience to me. A coworker informed me of my entitlement to half a day wages as per Reporting time pay. I emailed my staffing agency supervisor about it and he said that they can only pay me based on my time stamps... What can I do about this situation?

So I have my certificate, and I know that I have to get a passport photo, my fingerprints taken, and a notarized copy of my certificate, but the board of pharmacy website is really hard to navigate and I can't seem to find out EXACTLY what I need to do in order to receive my license. I'm currently in a pharmacy tech program at my community college but I want to get a head start on all the other graduates, plus having passed the PTCB makes me more desirable as a new hire. Hello, I just recently got myself the Lenovo Y500 Ideapad with the 1TB HDD + 16GB SSD. Well, I wanted MOAR SSD so I got a 256GB SSD. I migrated Windows 8 and all other data from the Stock HDD to my new SSD. I removed the stock HDD and checked to see if everything booted properly with just the SSD plugged in. It all checked out fine so I put the SSD in the slot where the stock HDD originally was and wanted to put the stock HDD in the Ultrabay. This is where I have a problem... For some reason, although my laptop boots fine, it can't recognize that the stock HDD is even in the laptop. Whether I put it in the Ultrabay or the original caddy. I gave the stock HDD to my brother to see if it worked for him, and it did. So I asked him if he could back-up then format it for me. (Thinking that may be the problem) So he did that for me and I just now put it in the Ultrabay and still it isn't being detected. I put it in it's original caddy, and guess what? Still not being detected. So although it is being detected on my brother's desktop, it isn't being detected in my laptop even though it's been formatted and wiped clean of any data. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't taken it to get smogged yet because I'm afraid they would fail me right off the bat because they can't tell how fast the tires are going when they do the speed intervals.

As I understand it, the word 'couple' describes an amount of two, but most people, including myself, constantly use the phrase "a couple of..." to usually describe or indicate to an amount greater than two. For example: Let's just say John visits his sickly father in the hospital a consistent 3 times a week. When John was asked by his friend Mike how often he visits his father, he said, "Oh, I visit him a couple of times a week."

What I'm getting at is that he could have said, "Oh, I visit him a few times a week." Indicating more than 2 times. Although anybody should understand that when John said "a couple of..." he was just generalizing an amount not too great, I'm just curious as to whether or not it is grammatically incorrect to use that phrase considering the definition of the word 'couple' refers to two.

Ok, so my girlfriend really wants to join the army, and I really love her and I want her to be happy, so I support her in her choices. But the thing is, I don't want to be apart from her. So I was wondering if there is a buddy program or something of the sort so that I could enlist with her and we could go through training and so on together. My best friend almost joined the Navy a while ago, and he really wanted me to join with him via their buddy program... pretty much, we'd be able to go through everything together, or at least that's what his recruiter said, and you can look it up online. I was curious if the army has a similar program if not the same one. I did a little looking around online, but I couldn't find whether or not there is a program like that... So hopefully someone here can tell me, I'd really appreciate it.

I use Mozilla Firefox as my primary internet browser, and never use IE unless I need to for whatever reason...

I regularly use a program called CCleaner (which I recommend) and when I use it, there is always some IE temporary files to be deleted. Why are they there when I never use IE?

I don't know why this started happening, but it's only on my computer. I can access them on any other computer but this one. It doesn't matter what browser I use either... I just can't access those pages on this computer. Any help is appreciated.

Do you find it even slightly unfair that many good paying jobs cannot be had without a college degree of some sort? Honestly now, in my eyes, college is a bit overrated. Some of you may think this is stupid, and on the other hand, some of you may like this. I'd like to read your thoughts on it. What I really find unfair, is that companies do not care necessarily how intelligent you are unless you have a college degree. And really, that's all a degree is, a piece of paper that says, "I'm this smart." or "I'm this good at cheating." What of the intelligent people that must struggle greatly to get into college? What if someone simply lacks motivation to go through all the trouble to get through college, especially when they know that they are smart enough, or capable enough to do what it is that they want to do as a profession? Why is it that if one wants to become a successful lawyer, they must go through years of school to do so? What if someone who didn't go to law school could debate a subject better than someone that did? When it comes down to it, people only care to see a diploma of some sort to believe in someone's credibility, even when it is very possible that that person cheated at some point in college. I am not saying that school is bad, I just think that it is unfair and just plain sad.

As a little boy, my heart stopped beating for approximately 3 minutes, two times. Both times because I drowned. Technically, I was dead both times, no blood was being pumped through my body, it was all still in there, just not moving around as it should have been, and when that happens, your dead. But fortunately for me, very fortunately, I was brought back to life through CPR. My whole point is that when I was dead, there was absolutely nothing, I wasn't standing in front of big pearly gates, or a fiery inferno, nor was I floating around as though I were a ghost. Now if you have technically died like myself, what happened? Do you remember anything? Don't give me any bullshit either. I can't possibly know if you're lying or not, but I want to know what anyone might remember if anything at all, because I think you would experience the same thing I did. Nothingness.

On people's profiles, it shows a number which represents the number of years they have had xbox live. I've had my account for 5-6 years, but on my profile it doesn't show the new little xbox design on the gold bar, or a number, I'd like to know why, I couldn't find the answer online so hopefully you guys can help.
