According to football365.com they are saying the 2009-10 fixture list is unfair to Liverpool...

I dont see what they have to complain about....

    Away to Spurs

    Home to Stoke

    Home to Aston Villa

    Away to Bolton

The 1st game is tough...but anything can happen in the 1st game of a season...as a Spurs fan, I hope Spurs win.

The other 3 games, whilst not easy, are all games Liverpool would expect to win if they think they have a serious chance of winning the premier league...home to Stoke should be a guaranteed 3 points for any big club, home to Villa 50/50...but for a title challenger, should be more like 70/30 in their favour, away to Bolton, again for a prospective challenger, should be a least 60/40 in Liverpool's favour!!

Utd., Chelski, Arsewipes, Spurs, Villa, Everton...all the potential top 6 have to play these teams..it doesn't matter what order u play them, we all play the same games, and over the season you have to be consistent...maybe some other clubs have a slightly easier start, but then they will have a tough patch in the middle or end of the season, so everyone is in the same situation!!

So scousers, stop moaning...cheer yourselves up and go nick some hubcaps!!

They have the most balanced fixture list tbh. Arsenal are playing Man united Chelsea Liverpool and Aston villa in a span of 4 weeks.

while liverpool have just a big game once or twice a month

Not complaining, I did have a joke that it looked like Fergie got his wish to rig, ahem sorry, watch the FA draw up the fixture list after HIS rant last season and Man U fans seemed to get very upset for some reason.....

a Liverpool fan complaining? Well I'll be damned. I feel Arsenal don't get a great fixture run every season but i DEAL with it!

    Which year it's not.

Arsenal fans can have a point, United, Chelsea and Liverpool back to back within 10 days. Other than that the fixtures are nicely spread.

Everyone plays everyone home and away. That's the way it always has been and always will be. There is nothing unfair about that.

I'm not complaining and I've been a Liverpool fan since I was 6 years old (1983).

It may seem a bit tough, but I'm not complaining or worried about it. I'm actually happy that we have a tough schedule since we always play better under pressure - we had real madrid, man utd, and aston villa one after the other and we thrashed real 4-0, united 4-1, and villa 5-0.

We had an easier schedule last year, especially the first half and we kept on drawing with mid and bottom table teams.
