If a liberal married a human, what religion would they teach their children?

Whoa! Has gay marriage finally been legalized?! By your question, I think it must have been. You know what they say: first people will marry their same-sex partners, then their dogs, goats, etc., and then liberals.

Are you trying to say that people who are liberal in their political philosophy are not human??? Do you really believe that? I happen to be what you would call a liberal (and what I call a progressive) and I am Jewish. I have friends of the same political philosophy as mine but different religions i.e., Christians and atheists and one Muslim. Their children learned about their respective religions from their parents as did mine. None of my friends made the mistake of mixing up religion with politics as you seem to be doing here. And I resent you implying that because I have a different outlook on life than you do, that I am not human. That is a dangerous way to think and it frightens me.

I'm a liberal atheist. I have a child and teach him the Greek deities (sorta). My dad exposed him to Christianity and if I ever marry a human ;-), who knows?

Are they not both human? Whatever the religion the parents want i suppose and the child may grow up and decide something else again.

Their children would then learn how to use 50% of their brain's potential instead of the average 10 :)
