How many weeks into the first trimester do the stomach cramps last for?
I have just found out I am pregnant. My GP is being useless and I can't get an appointment until I get back from my holiday next week. I have had dreadful stomach cramps for over 3 weeks now. Is this normal? How far into your pregnancy do the stomach cramps last for? I don't know when I last had a period as I have endometriosis which confuses things!

They should calm down by 8-10 weeks, but if you are like me, you will continue to get them off and on during the entire pregnancy. It is normal, it is the ligaments and the uterus stretching that is causing the pains.
Congrats to you, and don't worry x

First things first...Congrats!!
Next thing, I found out about three weeks ago that I am pregnant and have had the terrible and I mean TERRIBLE cramps. They are around my uterus and feel like period cramps but like 20 times worse and I am now about 5 or 6 weeks pregnant. So I am not going to be much of a help for how long they last, but I do know that they are 100% normal!

i am almost 16 weeks and still get the occasional cramping, its normal and its just your body growing to accommodate your little one. The pains are a lot worse in the first trimester, i would be walking around fine and all of a sudden it would start to hurt really bad, id sit down for a moment and it would then pass quickly. Oh and Congratulations and the best of luck to you and the baby!

Unfortunately honey it seems like you are having pains from your uterus stretching and as you get further along the pressure/achy feeling down there gets worse as bub gets bigger.
But the pain changes from an ache in the first 12 weeks, to more like pressure from 6 months.
Good luck and congrats!!
